- Abstract
- A summary of the important points of the LCA.
- The LCA was originally developed for the purposes of a Heritage Lottery Fund application to the Landscape Partnership Scheme (LPS). The general development and fieldwork were carried out by the appointed Landscape Partnership Officer in association with a range of stakeholders, partner organisations and the community. The LCA was designed to satisfy the requirements of the application process and as such recommendations and suggestions are chiefly associated with the remit of the funding and possible enhancement works which could have been carried out under the Landscape Partnership Scheme. The LPS bid was not completed, instead the Partnership driving the bid chose to pursue a smaller project from the Heritage Grants scheme to look primarily at improving access and awareness of the landscape heritage.
